Door-to-door transport: This is the most common type of auto transport service, where the company will pick up your vehicle from your home or other designated location and deliver it to your destination.

Open carrier transport: This is the most affordable type of transport, where your vehicle will be transported on an open trailer with other vehicles.

Enclosed carrier transport: This is a more expensive option, but it provides better protection for your vehicle from the elements and road debris.

Expedited shipping: If you need your vehicle transported quickly, for an extra fee, we can expedite the shipping of your vehicle.

Military vehicle transport:  We specialize in transporting military vehicles, which often will require special permits and handling.

Classic car transport: Classic cars often require special care during transport, and our company specializes in this type of service.

Alaska and Hawaii Shipping: Shipping a car to Alaska or Hawaii presents unique challenges and considerations compared to mainland shipments. Here's what you need to know:

Q15: What could prolong or delay the transportation of my vehicle?

A: Unlike transporting vehicles within the continental USA, where cars are primarily transported by truck, transporting vehicles to Alaska and/or Hawaii involves shipping them by sea. This means that you can expect longer transit times and even longer depending on weather conditions. In regards to the Logistical complexities, coordinating land and sea transportation requires a level of expertise and experience from the broker.

WeAreTransportOnDemand are highly trained on Maritime transportation.  When it comes to distance and time, that will all depend on where the vehicles will be transported and weather conditions. For example, Alaska and Hawaii are significantly farther from the continental USA, thus resulting in longer transit times (i.e. 8-19 days) and higher potential for delays due to inclement weather or even unforeseen mechanical issues. As far as regulations are concerned, remember that each state has specific regulations regarding vehicle shipping, including prohibited items in vehicles and weight restrictions.
